I am Eric Coryell and I am on a mission to help business leaders create adult organizations and escape the parent/child model that has been entrenched for decades. I work with small to medium sized organizations do this through the creation of functional and accountable teams inside their organizations. During my 23 year career in the corporate world where I held sat in every seat from purchasing agent to President, I discovered that most teams inside business organizations are not really teams.
Very few people truly say what they feel in front of the team and most people are ultimately accountable to their boss and not to their teammates and the results of the team. This leads to the unproductive, unhealthy and sometimes toxic work environments that exist today. I now know there is a different way off managing accountability inside an organization. One that truly promotes teamwork, moves decision making to where it should be, takes the focus from the leader to the customer, and is attractive to the younger generations
